Most people desire, just a few decide.
Here’s the process that I have been following and has never failed me. 3rd step is the real game changer. This exercise just takes about 5-10 minutes and it does work.
1. Decide what you want with brutal clarity and a Deadline.
Be very very Specific, tangible goals. With a deadline. Without a clear destination, no wind is favourable.
Ambiguity is the enemy of progress. Clearly articulate what you want to achieve, ensuring it’s specific and measurable. Set a realistic deadline to instill urgency and focus.
2. Very clearly define what do you need to do to achieve this. [Actions & Sacrifices]
What actions must be taken?
What comforts must be sacrificed?
No illusions — know the cost, and still choose to pay it.
3. Very clearly define why will you fail.
List the distractions, the doubts, the excuses you’ll use.
Shine light on your shadow. It weakens its grip.
Self-awareness is a powerful tool. Reflect on past patterns and recognize the challenges or distractions that could derail your progress. By acknowledging these in advance, you equip yourself to navigate them effectively.
4. Stick to your Plan ( It will work)
No more planning. Execute.
Revisit steps 2 and 3 regularly — not to change them, but to remind yourself what is required… and what must be resisted.
Consistency is key. Stick to your outlined plan, revisiting and adjusting it as necessary. Regularly remind yourself of the reasons behind your goal to maintain motivation.
5. Have faith that you will succeed.
The work is yours. The result is grace.
Faith is the fuel for when logic and motivation fall short.
Bonus: Keep reminding yourself about rewards, why are you doing it.
You are not just chasing outcomes – you are becoming someone.
When the path is hard, remember what waits at the end: Peace. Mastery. Truth.
This isn’t a hack. It’s a blueprint.
For creators, founders, seekers – anyone who refuses to live on autopilot.
Decide. Act. Resist. Trust. And never forget: the most dangerous thing you can do… is Act.
